Useful Information

  • Doors and hinges : Our doors are pre-drilled so that they can be attached to the Metod carcasses. Plan for 3 Utrusta hinges (to buy at Ikea) per door.

  • Sides : The side panels that cover the sides are screwed from the inside with 25 to 30 mm screws.

  • Cuttings : Two cuts are necessary for this project : the sides have to be cut from 39x160cm to 39x141,6cm.

  • Handles : The doors were installed using Ikea's push door openers (Utrusta).

How to optimise your budget ?

If you place your cabinets directly against your wall, you can save one to two deck sides worth between €250 and €500.
