A two tone kids desk

The starting point for this room was the tie dye wallpaper, which inspired a two-tone desk created from a Metod unit. The door that led to another part of the farmhouse has been sealed off, turning it into a poetic arch in which floating shelves nestle.

A two tone kids desk

Some practical details

  • In this project we used a 37cm deep Metod wall cabinet, fixed to the wall.

  • Drawers: our drawer fronts are pre-drilled to attach to Ikea Maximera drawer rails only.

  • Sides: The finishing panels that dress the cabinet are screwed from the inside, with 25 to 30mm screws.

  • Cut: no cut needed for the realization of this project.
