Nestled under the sloping roof, this bathroom combines a shower and bathtub in a confined space. Mélanie took advantage of every available centimeter by playing with an Ikea cabinet tucked under the rafters and dressed in Pure White and Olive fronts. Stretched on the adjoining wall, the colour creates a box effect that gives the illusion of a custom-made unit.

Some practical details

  • Cabinet: this piece of furniture was made with a Metod cabinet placed on the floor, tucked under the rafters

  • Drawers: our drawer fronts are pre-drilled to attach to Ikea Maximera drawer rails only.

  • Sides: the finishing panel used as a top on the cabinet is screwed from the inside of the cabinet.

  • Cuts: No cuts needed for this project.

  • Paint: stretched on the adjoining wall, the color creates a box effect that gives the illusion of a custom-made unit.
