How to create a chic chest of drawers

Whether painted in Beige 01 - Beige rosé to blend in with your decor, or highlighted with a plinth and an Electric blue top to give the space a pop of colour, this bold chest of drawers is sure to add style to your storage situation at home.

Made with 80x80cm Method cabinet frames, this chest of drawers with 8 drawers also brings a lot of storage space to your bedroom or your living room.

A few points to consider before you get started:

Drawers: Our drawer fronts are pre-drilled to fit Ikea Maximera drawer rails only.
Sides: The side and top panels of this chest of drawers are screwed on from the inside of the cabinets with 25-30mm screws. These side panels won’t be needed if your furniture is placed against a wall.
Cut-outs: For this example, you will need to cut the 62x200cm finishing panel to 163.2cm. So you can hide the exposed edge after cutting it, you will receive a small can of paint with your fronts. You will also have to cut the skirting boards to create the side panels.
