Some practical information

  • The 37cm deep wall-mounted Metod cabinet frames are suspended on a Metod rail fixed to the wall. To create this pièce, we used 2 modules, which we connected by screwing them together.

  • The dowels and screws to use to fix the rail depend on the nature of your wall (concrete, plasterboard) and the final weight to be supported. Ask your DIY shop for more information!

  • Doors: our doors are pre-drilled to fit the Metod cabinet frames.

  • Hinges: plan for 1 pack of 2 Utrusta hinges (to be bought at Ikea), per Plum Living door.

  • Sides: The side cover panels, which cover the sides and top of this furniture, are screwed on from the inside, with 25-30mm screws. They will not be necessary if your cabinet is placed against a wall.
