Some practical information

  • The 37cm deep Metod wall cabinet frames are suspended on a Metod rail fixed to the wall. To create this arch, we used several modules, which we connected by screwing them together.

  • The dowels and screws to use to fix the rail depend on the nature of your wall (concrete, plasterboard) and the final weight to be supported. Ask your DIY shop for more information!

  • Doors: our doors are pre-drilled to fit the Metod cabinet frames.

  • Hinges: 2 Utrusta hinges (to be bought at Ikea) per 60x40cm door, and 3 hinges per 40x180cm door.

  • Sides: The side cover panels, which cover the sides, are screwed on from the inside with 25-30mm screws. They will not be necessary if your furniture is placed against a wall.
